For as long as I can remember I have surrounded myself with nature, paintbrushes, pencils and art books. During my English and Art History degree, I experimented with a number of art disciplines and discovered in particular, a love for the etching process. An enthusiasm for oils then became my preferred medium and from a rather more meticulous approach and execution at the kitchen table, I now have my own studio which allows for freer and often frenetic expression, using all manner of mediums -  oils, acrylics, inks and charcoal sometimes they might all be used in a single painting.

I have always been involved in the arts in some capacity, from writing articles to launching and editing an Art magazine and having the pleasure of interviewing countless, yet utterly memorable, young and professional artists alike - many of whom continue to inspire me today. I have been involved with the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Art since their inauguration in 2000, helping with school art projects, art exhibitions and auctions. I am a Trustee and an as an Honorary member delighted to exhibit along side Academicians.

One of my greatest pleasures is sourcing artworks for homes and offices. A painting can be the first impression you make on your visitors and the right art in the right place can enhance any area, as well as lift your spirits and evoke conversation.  I enjoy putting artists in touch with buyers and art sellers in touch with collectors, please feel free to contact me without obligation if you would like to discuss. 

I have work at the Brownston Gallery Modbury, artenax Gallery Topsham, The Academy Room at Kennaway House Sidmouth, Otterton Mill, Otterton, Whitewater Contemporary Polzeath and the Pebble Gallery Budleigh Salterton. I exhibit annually at Town Mill Gallery Lyme Regis and Delamore Arts, Ivybridge.
